On 2 December the UAE marks its 55th National Day, and red, green, white and black show up everywhere: on buildings, cars and nails. UAE National Day nail art is one of the easiest ways to join in, and a good gel or BIAB set will see you through the long weekend and into party season. Five National Day nail looks for 2026
1. The flag accent nail
Keep four nails in one solid gel shade (deep red or nude) and turn the ring finger into a mini flag: a vertical red band with green, white and black stripes. It’s the most-requested look because it works with work clothes and the National Day outfit alike. Hand-painted art at Mimosa starts from AED 15 per nail.
2. Emerald cat-eye
A magnetic cat-eye gel in deep green catches the light like a gemstone and reads as festive without being literal. Our cat-eye full set is AED 100 on top of your gel manicure.
3. Red chrome
High-shine red chrome is bold for the day and still right for December parties. Chrome full set is AED 125 on top of gel. For something softer, ask for chrome on accent nails only (AED 15 per nail).
4. Four-colour French tips
A modern French: each tip in one of the flag colours on a sheer nude base. It’s subtle up close and striking in photos. Ask your nail artist to quote the tips as art when you book.
5. Long extensions with a full design

Gel, BIAB or extensions for National Day nails?
Gel (from AED 140) is the quickest and lasts 2–3 weeks, so it carries you from National Day into early December parties. BIAB (from AED 250) adds strength to your natural nails and suits longer nails that tend to break; see our BIAB builder gel page.
